ALENDARIO DELL'AVVENTO ISSIMO X PEYRANO
A waiting game!

Advent calendars can be traced back to 19th century Germany, when Catholic families would mark every day in December until Christmas Eve with a chalk line. By the early 20th
century, the calendar had morphed into the version we are used to today – a colourful display with doors for each day of the month hiding a little treat inside – and had
become a festive fixture for kids who just couldn't wait for Santa to arrive. Which is why we love them so much. Advent calendars speak of joy, delight, and hope – the essence of all good holidays, don’t you think?

The perfect gift for a loved one – or yourself – the gorgeous set is bound to delight, filled as it is with tantalising chocolates by Turin chocolate maker Peyrano and oodles of ISSIMO aplomb.
If the marriage of chocolate and hazelnuts sounds rich and luscious, it’s because it is: bite any of the Peyrano’s giandujotti in our calendar (we dare you to wait until December 1!) and
you’ll be met with the deep flavour of the hazelnuts weaved with the fruity high notes of the chocolate, for an experience that’s short of ethereal.

SCATOLA DI CIOCCOLATINI: ISSIMO & PEYRANO
"L'amor che move il sole e l'altre stelle"
This quote from one of the greatest Italian poets, inspired the collaboration between Peyrano and the iconic reality of ISSIMO, digital extension of the Pellicano world ideated, curated and designed by Marie-Louise SciòCreative Director and CEO of Pellicano Hotels .
"As the outpost for the 21st Grand Tour, Issimo is the crossroads of artisanal craftsmanship and contemporary design for a true discovery of Italian excellence. ISSIMO is for the curious, passionate, adventurous and hungry about everything Italian, with a twist." M.L. Sciò
Marie-Louise and her creative team designed the layout for the  ISSIMO & Peyrano limited edition box for this Valentine's Day.

"Romeo" and "Juliet": a heart-shaped dark chocolate filled with gianduja and a milk chocolate heart with a crunchy almond and hazelnut cream filling.

These chocolates were first developed and filed with the patent office in the early 1950s, and they have helped to shape the history of Peyrano as one of the chocolate factory's most iconic products.

Although we recommend tasting both versions, we can customise the Romeo & Juliet chocolate box with the variety you prefer.
